What is EIP Fun
EIP Fun (@EIPFun) strives to be the developer relation platform for Ethereum core developers and an adoption accelerator for ERC standards and projects. Our mission to Serve Ethereum Builders, and Scale the Community.
What’s the motivation
The core protocol has evolved a lot with different branches of advanced research on the roadmap. It has become fairly complex to understand & catch up for new comers.
EIP Fun wants to bridge the gap through weekly core dev meetings & standards status change recap, hard fork & advanced research-related technical workshops, and core protocol study with EPF study group.
For ERC standards, we strongly believe that adoption is the key. If no one other than the author is using the ERC, then the ERC is almost useless…However, a lot of authors either don’t have time or don’t know how to onboard more people to adopt their standards.
EIP Fun aims to provide a platform for ERC builders to showcase their work, help other devs to understand the standards, the motivation, the mechanism, and facilitate the path for onboarding devs to experiment & build DApps on top.
Information regarding a specific standard is fragmented currently, and spread out across different platforms, incl. EIP website, Fellowship of Ethereum Magicians, Ethereum Research, Youtube and Hackmd blogs etc.
EIP Fun wants to aggregate the info through an extended website for Ethereum standards, where standard-related videos, technical blogs, discussions, and projects can be proposed by the community and incl. into the standard profile page.
We also plan to involve a wider community to co-build the standard profile page.

Standards Learning Workshops
Organize hard-fork related standards & research technical workshops, twitter space, and mainnet upgrade celebration party
Organize workshops on ERCs to onboard devs and accelerate standards’ adoption
ERC New Dev Study Group
Collaborate with AllERCDev to curate ERC-focused Dev onboarding content
Incl. general intro of standards & working group, methodology to research, procedures & tips on submitting
Core protocol & Data visual hackathon
Collaborate with Ethereum ecosystem community in organizing and marketing relevant hackathons, eg. EIP-4844 blob related analysis, ecosystem data visualization contest etc.
